Another great win for Gloucester Old Boys 2nd XV, the second week on the trot. Things are starting to shape up nicely going into the final few weeks of the season.
The opening try was scored by Zac 'The Zig-Zag' Pitt, pictured, with fly-half James Locke adding the extras.
A chance to increase the lead with a penalty, was then missed by Locke.
Old Boys second try came from some great interlinking play, which enabled the ever improving, Matt Pitt, to race over the whitewash to press home their advantage.
The second period saw Old Boys replacement fly-half Josh Young increase the lead with a penalty, but no further tries were scored and the game finished 15-5 to Old Boys.
It was good to see the return of Darrel Minns at inside centre to provide his experience in the midfield, then to be replaced by the returning Liam Gilbert. It also worth noting that Tom Rayer actually made it past half time, however, this could be down to the game being played on the smaller pitch.
Niall Chandler, we hope the injury to the leg isn't too serious and wish you a speedy recovery.
Zac Pitt was asked to prepare his usual concoction for the dodgy pint, which he then had to drink for being awarded 'Man of the Match'.
The boys all stayed on into the evening with the usual fun and frolics.
